Julep Maven

So, I belong to a lot of "personalized" monthly shopping sites, such as JewelMint, ShoeDazzle, & JustFabulous.  I really like taking the little quizzes to figure out what they're going to recommend for me.  I rarely buy anything, & the couple things I have purchased I wasn't very psyched on.  Most recently, I signed up for Julep Maven after reading Adiel's post about it.  She does lots of awesome, fancy manis while I usually just do a simple, solid color but when I took the quiz & saw the colors, I loved them.  I signed up & bought the February 'It Girl' Box.

It's so cutely packaged!  AND it came with an Oscar shaped dark chocolate!

I Have a Complaint: Fab.com

I ordered this record player from Fab.com for my boyfriend back in November to give to him as a gift. We just got bought a stand for it & finally got to try it out. The motor is shot. It plays so poorly, speeding up & slowing down. The turntable is also not level. I am beyond annoyed at Crosley & Fab.com for selling poorly made products. This item is also not eligible for return so I am just out that money. While I'm at it I'll also state what poor practice it is to ship an item in just it's original box for the whole world to see what is inside and then UPS just left it on my front step all day. This whole thing makes me want to not order from Fab.com again.

I just emailed my angry complaint to their support but I wanted to share it with everyone here as well.
